Tilda with Cock-a-Doodle-Doo the Rooster

Hello everyone,
I hope you're all well. Thank you so much for all your lovely comments - it really means a lot to me that you take the time to visit! I've been busy sorting out my craft stash over the last few days. It started out as a quick tidy up and has turned into a big sort out that is taking ages to get through so I haven't been able to get much actual crafting done!

The card I'm sharing with you today was a bit of an experiment. I've been wanting to try out some different products and at the top of my list was stencils and pastes. This is my first attempt using the Tim Holtz Honeycomb stencil and some grunge paste from Samuel Taylors. I was a bit hesitant about trying it out on my Maja papers but reminded myself of my resolution not to save my favourite products. The Magnolia image is my favourite from the Animals of the Year collection and has been coloured with Inktense pencils. I have also used:
Sentiment tag - Lili of the Valley
Fence and grass - Magnolia DooHickeys
Hessian, seam-binding, twine - Ribbon Girl
Pearls, wooden buttons (with added paint) - Samuel Taylors
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Charm - from my stash

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Bunny Zoe's - Bingo (Flowers, Pearls, Charm)
Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia - Buttons

Thanks for visiting - have a great week!

Rebecca.

  20. Wow Rebecca, your stencilling looks incredible and really suits your design of card. The Tilda image is adorable and you have coloured her so beautifully. I love, love, love Maja Design papers and can totally understand why you would not want to stencil over them but I think you have enhanced them - if that is possible! Anne xx
