Catching Butterflies

Hello everyone,
I hope you're all okay. I thought I'd make a summery card today since it won't be long until Christmas completely dominates my crafting (not that I'm complaining - Christmas is definitely my favourite time of year!). I've used Tilda with Hawaiian Flower (coloured with Inktense pencils) and Maja Design papers. I've added the hearts using grunge paste and a Tim Holtz stencil. The butterfly is one of my favourite DooHickey dies and the other products I've used are listed below:
Hessian, lace, twine - Ribbon Girl
Sentiment - LOTV
Flowers - WOC
Pearl flourish - Creative Expressions
Heart pin - from my stash

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Bunny Zoe's - Summer Colours
A Creative Romance - Fun in the Sun
Lovely Hanglar or Sweet Magnolia - Celebrate

Thank you so much for visiting!
Rebecca.

  2. Gorgeous summery card! You've mastered those intense pencils brilliantly, Tilda looks great. The colour combination is lovely as are the flowers. I've just started my first Christmas card and my mojo has already gone for a walk, might be my last at this rate! Debra x

I do not really do "jaunty angles" must give it a go. You do it so well and looks fantastic.
When I have tried it in the past it just looks "wrong" as though the papers have "slipped" LOL!!!

  18. Stunning creation, loving the image and the colour combo too... Oh wow power in prayer or the power and determination and will of an old man to keep on living....his smile today was priceless and he actually ate a bit of porridge and soup for me today. Yesterday we were told to tell family and have his Last Rights given by the Priest, he was not able to open the Golden Gates... I have decided to come home this evening after spending all night with him and try and relax....and this is how I relax....thanks for your sweet thoughts, I value my friends here...♥aNNie
