Tilda as Lucia

Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent a lovely day in Keswick on Saturday and was able to complete my Inktense collection in the Derwent shop!
For today's card I've used Tilda as Lucia and DooHickey Cute Wings - both were some of my earliest Magnolia purchases which have been neglected until now! The papers are Maja Design (It's Christmas time) and I've hand-stitched the edges. I've added Walnut Stain distress ink to the papers, frame, sentiment, music, wings and flowers. The heart is a Shabby Bark Heart from Live and Love Crafts which I covered in gesso paint and glitter (which hasn't shown up in the photo!) then scratched some off so that the bark could show through in places. I have also used:
Grunge Music stamp - Lili of the Valley
Sentiment - Lili of the Valley ('Noel' from the Christmas Wishes set stamped onto the blank tag from the Christmas Sentiment Tags set)
White flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Rolled flowers - Marianne Design die
Lace, heart - Live and Love Crafts
Saddlestitch ribbon, twine - Ribbon Girl
Pearls, pearl string, gems, wooden stars - Samuel Taylors
Bell - from my stash

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Live and Love Crafts - Things with Wings
Ribbon Girl - Add Ribbons
Midweek Magnolias - Christmas is Coming
A Creative Romance - A Touch of Kraft
ALBC - Distress It

Thank you so much for visiting - I really appreciate your supportive comments!

  1. HAND STITCHED!!! you have some patience.
Takes me all my time to do that with my machine.
A stunning card, everything is so beautiful.
Enjoy using your new pencils. I still have pluck up the courage to start on my Prisma Pencils I got as a gift. Hate the thought of spoiling the look of them in the tin. I know I can replace any BUT they all look so divine as they are.
