Peacock

Hello everyone,
I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. I love peacocks so couldn't resist using the Magnolia DooHickey Peacock die as the main focus of my card. It has been layered a few times then covered with shabby blue frantage. I've also used:
Flourish - Magnolia DooHickey Heart Swirl
Frame - Spellbinders
Papers (hand-stitched) - Maja Design Vintage Autumn Basics (via LLC)
Lace, pin - Live and Love Crafts
Seam binding, paint dabber - Ribbon Girl
Open roses, rosebuds - Wild Orchid Crafts
Pearls, Walnut Stain Distress Ink - Samuel Taylors

I'm entering the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly - Bingo (ribbon, free, blooms)
ABC Challenge - D is for Die-cuts

Thank you so much for stopping by. I haven't had much mojo for the last couple of weeks but I really enjoyed making this one and that irresistible urge to craft is back! Thanks for keeping me inspired with your wonderful comments.

Rebecca.

  23. So beautiful, love the blue and again your every detail is perfection. If your mojo has been on leave, I would love to have had it stay here with me.

I saw a peacock ornament recently in a Garden Centre, I went to smooth it as the feathers looked to smooth and soft, only to discover it was a type of plaster mould, I was so taken aback with it.
